Ford Meter Box Company has announced they have selected GK Systems as their partner in building their foundry of the future. The groundbreaking for the Ford Meter Box state-of-the-art foundry facility took place on Thursday, October 26th, in Wabash, Indiana, featuring members of the Ford Meter Box company, General Kinematics and local government officials.

Announced as the principal design firm for the project back in July, GK SYSTEMS (a premier brand of General Kinematics) has now been designated the General Contractor for the project. Chris Shanks, Executive Vice President and GM, commented on the decision to select GK Systems:

”We are pleased to partner with General Kinematics in the building of our new state-of-the-art foundry in Wabash, Indiana.  For over a year, Ford Meter Box has been collaborating with the GK team on designing our foundry, and we are excited to have the partnership continue through completion of the project.”
